Collaborative Democracy Solutions

CODES aims to develop research based creative technological solutions that optimise electoral and consultative processes and citizens' satisfaction and engagement.

CODES is an innovation initiative supported by the LSE and co-founded by Prof. Michael Bruter and Dr Sarah Harrison who lead the Electoral Psychology Observatory. Drawing upon 40 years of combined experience in directing cutting-edge research they strive to better understand the minds of voters and how to optimise the ergonomics of electoral and consultative processes.

Their ground-breaking research has received numerous awards such as the Market Research Society award for Best International Research and has led them to work for and collaborate with multiple Electoral Commissions, Parliaments, European and International Organisations, local governments, and NGOs across all five continents.

The CODES team also includes Ms Ioana Vitan an energetic, enthusiastic and rigorous innovation professional who graduated from the LSE in political science and economics and is leading the path to bring CODES solutions to the market.
